According to the latest Core Logic Property Pulse the number of Australian suburbs in the million dollar club has risen by 29 per cent over the past year, with 613 suburbs nationally recording a median value of at least $1 million as of June 30 2016.
It comes as no surprise that a majority (68.2%) of these suburbs are located in NSW up from 59.9 per cent in 2008, an indication of how housing affordability has deteriorated there over time. Victoria came in second place with 16.6 per cent of the richest suburbs in Aus.
When it seems to be all doom and gloom in the news about the housing affordability crisis and foreign investors dominating property sales, it can be nice to take a moment out of the day to simply look at pretty houses.
