Real Estate Business Online- Property Portal nudges 4,000 office listings
16th June 2014- One of Australia’s newest online property search portals has reached almost 4,000 office listings, placing it one step closer to its aim of full market coverage.
After confirming the addition of Highland Property Agents to its site, Homely.com.au marketing executive Todd Schulberg said essentially it puts them one step closer to having “100 per cent market coverage”.
“That is obviously our goal, to have every office in Australia listing with Homely,” he told Real Estate Business.
“We are hopeful, we don’t want to put a date on when exactly it will be, but as we continue to build up we think it will happen sooner rather than later.
“There is a figure out there of, I think 7,500 or something, in regards to how many offices there are, but we should be pushing that number hopefully by the end of the year,” he added.
Homely.com.au national sales director Rocky Bartolotto said he couldn’t have been happier with the outcome of Highlands Property Agents joining the office listings.
“It is great to hear such overwhelmingly positive feedback from agents who continue to assist our rapid expansion,” he said.
Mr Schulberg said with choosing to sponsor the 2014 Real Estate Business Awards, it gives Homely the chance to be affiliated with people who are experts in the industry, especially with the agent side of things.
“It was a good opportunity for us to get in there and put our name towards a great awards event and a really well-established brand in real estate knowledge.”
The 2014 awards will take place on Thursday 17 July at The Star, Sydney. More information is available at http://www.rebawards.com.au
